This project required engineering for tight spaces due to existing utilities & property line conflicts. Clean limestone, geogrid, and stabilized aggregate were all used to build engineered structural walls in these tight spaces.

Reinforcement methods included: flowable fill mass extenders for gravity block walls, geogrid reinforced walls with granular backfill, and granular backfill for gravity walls.

Not the average neighborhood wall project! Cobblestone-faced, engineered large block retaining wall was required to fit a dream house, with a dream view, into an unmanageable lot. We incorporated a drainage system, as well as deck footings into this structural wall build.

A crumbling wall & tight property lines required an engineered structural wall to help maintain the existing separation of two properties. An engineered, 9′ tall gravity segmental block wall is not often heard of, but with the use of stabilized aggregate, we were able to achieve just that.
Included in this project was a window egress, paver patio, and a fire pit for outdoor entertaining.
