Redi-Rock gravity block wall systems. Large scale gravity block walls have become a crucial element to street widening projects within Omaha and Douglas County, Nebraska. With unit weights in excess of 5,000 lbs and the capabilities of building 19.5 feet tall without reinforcing, these types of walls allow for current utilities to stay in place as well as salvaging an already mature and thriving landscape. The Harrison Street project was a multi-phase project that was carried out of two calendar years.
A crumbling limestone wall and tight property lines required an engineered structural wall to help maintain the existing separation of two properties. An engineered 9 foot tall gravity segmental block wall is not heard of often, but with the use of Stabilized Aggregate, we were able to achieve just that. Included in this project are a window egress as well as paver patio and fire pit for outdoor entertaining.
Not your average neighborhood wall project. Cobblestone faced engineered large block retaining wall was required to fit a dream house with a dream view into a very unmanageable lot. We incorporated a drainage system as well as deck footings into this structural wall build.
Homeowner wanted a different look than neighboring seawalls. With Redi-Rock gravity walls in ledgestone face we were able to create a unique landscape and an original look to the lakefront home.
